I'd like to help you to learn Korean Alphabet called 'Han-gul'

It is definitely the most scientific writing system in the world ;)

And looks lovely

#Why Han-gul is so scientific and logical?

#Who created Hangul ?

Hangul(한글) is easy to read and write

It is created by Scholars in Jipyeon-jeon(집현전:Hall of Worthies)

during King Sejong regime (Joseon Dynasty in 1443)

We all know that Hangul is King Sejong's invention 

Of course, It is a great feat of King Sejong.

But I'd like to inform that it was Scholars great effort.

#How is Hangul organized?

Hangul has 19 consonant and 21 vowel letters.
As soon as you acquire this, You can write and read all of the Korean words.



# 19 consonant (자음 : Ja-eum : 子音)


<단자음 : Single Consonants : 單子音>

I'll using 'ㄱ' as an example
The name is 'Gi-yeok' (기역) and The sound is 'Geu' (그)
similar with 'Grace', 'Grape', 'Gun', 'Goal' in English

 ㄱ / ㄴ / ㄷ / ㄹ / ㅁ / ㅂ / ㅅ / ㅇ / ㅈ / ㅊ / ㅋ / ㅌ / ㅍ / ㅎ 


ㄱ :   'Gi-yeok' (기역) / 'Geu' (그) 
ㄴ : 'Ni-eun' (니은) / 'Neu' (느)
ㄷ : 'Di-geut' (디귿) / 'Deu' (드)
ㄹ : 'Li-eul' (리을) / 'Leu' (르)
ㅁ : 'Mi-eum' (미음) / 'Meu' (므)
ㅂ : 'Bi-eub' (비읍) / 'Beu' (브)
ㅅ : 'Si-ot' (시옷) / 'Seu' (스)
ㅇ : 'E-eung' (이응) / 'Eu' (으)
ㅈ : 'Ji-eut' (지읒) / 'Jeu' (즈)

<쌍자음 : Homogeneous Twin Consonants>

 ㄲ / ㄸ / ㅃ / ㅆ / ㅉ 

It has tensed sound
When we call its name,
'Ssang' is required before this word.
'Ssang(쌍)' means 'Pair'

ㄲ : 'Ssang-Gi-yeok' 'Ggue'


The principle is so simple
A pair of Giyeok become Ssang-Giyeok
